Tweez

He doesn’t smoke, drink, or use obscene language. He does however get high everyday on music. He goes by the name "Tweez", and is one of the most known, respected and admired DJs in the On-Air world. Tweez grew up in Diego Martin, and was always outdoors playing football, basketball and cricket. He was never the boy who was locked up inside the house playing video games. In his words, he had a ‘hard knocks and buss toe’ childhood. His early influence was his brother who worked at a record shop during the Vinyl days.

The first job out of school for this guy was at Neal and Massy for a total of one year, after which he decided he wanted to give his life to music. He then worked at ‘Rent a Amp’ for ten years from its inception where he was the Club and Sound Systems Manager. Tweez has been in the radio business for 18 years now and can be heard every morning on 96.1 WEFM with Rachel Price.

He can truly say he has accomplished almost everything he set out to do in life, but at the same time he refuses to close the door to future aspirations he may have. Tweez has played in Grenada, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, Jamaica, the USA, the UK and Canada.

He loves Chinese, Italian and roti. And though he doesn’t drink alcohol his favorite drink is orange juice. His pet peeves are smokers, and intoxicated people. People who can’t admit they are wrong or who don't apologize sincerely also fall under his dislikes.

When not working, Tweez likes to watch movies, plays, and go out to dinner. His favorite memory playing carries him back to opening for Maxi Priest in a concert in Antigua. Tweez is motivated by positive people and he doesn’t get nervous; he just gets hyped by looking at a crowd before he plays for them.
