Junior Wharton aka Selector Junior developed a passion for the musical artform at the early age of 18. However, the journey would not be a easy one as junior would have to endure many obstacles along the way.

One such obstacle would be the loss of a foundation member in his group, in a head on collision. This seemed to make Junior more determined to make the name of StudioGuyz Movement known to the world.

Driven by this determination and enthusiasm he mastered his musical skills and set out on a mission to entertain the masses. This would set the precedence for making the name StudioGuyz Movement known; as in 1999 he landed a spot at 96.1 WEFM, the number one radio station in Trinidad. From then he has never looked back and it can be said that Junior is a part of a generation of musical engineers taking the art of music to new heights.

To date, he has worked with the likes of Tweez, Shal Marshall.The StudioGuyz Movement continues to represent internationally with Corey John aka Dj Markee from London. Apart from being a DJ, Junior along with his two brothers, Gary & Nigel, incorporates the StudioGuyz Movement as a Successful Sound System Company providing Professional sound engineering services for small, medium and large scale events.
