Farmer Nappy took to Twitter to share his disappointment about being excluded from the Groovy Soca Monarch finals.
Indeed when the competitors to perform on Fantastic Friday, February 17were announced his fans started tweeting their shock and surprise at his omission.
At first Nappy who hoped to get in the finals on the strength of his hugely popular “Surrender’ said he was shaking his head and wondering what the judges were looking for.
Then Nappy tweeted that the list of finalists shows him that the those selected are decided long before the competition begins.
Not long afterwards, he said :”I respected and understood why Bunji Garlin and Fay Ann Lyons did not enter the Soca Monarch competition, adding “ I should have trusted myself and followed! Next time.
Now we wait to see what will happen next year.
