Members of the Highway re-route movement are getting set to head to the Hall of Justice tomorrow led by an all woman contingent.

They will be fasting and praying and giving out information relating to the construction of the Debe to Mon Desir leg of the Point Fortin Highway.

And commenting about women taking the lead in the movement’s fight, Environmentalist Dr. Wayne Kublalsingh commended their efforts.

Speaking with TTRN news this morning he reflected on the fact that women have been on forefront of economic development and political resistance in the Caribbean and Latin America.
