Chucky has had enough with the rumors. The singer told WEFM news that he has been hearing people saying he only made it to Soca Monarch finals because of the legacy of his late father who died three years ago and was a member of the Soca Monarch organizing committee.
According to the rumors, Chucky shouldn’t have made the finals ahead of artistes with “big” songs like Farmer Nappy, K.Rich and Kimba Sorzano.
However Chuky said making the finals isn’t only about having a big song, it’s about performance and presentation of the song.
