Destra Garcia, Blaxx, Erphan Alves Nadia Batson and Machel Montano will compete in the finals of both the Power and the Groovy soca monarch competition.
Swappi, Iwer George, Prophet Benjamin and Shurwayne Winchester will join them in trying to dethrone reigning power soca monarch Machel Montano on Fantastic Friday, February 17th.
The power soca finalists were announced on Tuesday morning and will be joined by Vincentian Fireman, Hardnoxx of Antigua as well as Michael Mursor of Barbados.
Meantime, the battle for the groovy Soca monarch is expected to be a straight battle between Kerwin Du Bois and Machel Montano their tracks “Bacchanalist” and “Mr. Fete.”
The other finalists are JW and Blaze, KI, Patrice Roberts, Chucky, Benjai, Shal Marshall and Super Jigga TC.
